Contacts Don't Have a Professional Summary

Employment and education history for your contacts (their professional summary) comes from Accompany's data platform. When you add a Contact, we look for information we can use to match them up with someone in our database; if there's a match, we'll associate that data with your Contact.

If you don’t see a professional summary for one of your Contacts, that means one of the following things:

  1. We don’t have enough information on your Contact to link them to someone in our database
  2. The person doesn’t exist in our database
  3. Their database entry doesn’t include a professional summary

To make sure there’s enough information on your contacts to link them up, we recommend making sure your Contacts have accurate and current information. It’s also a good practice to make sure all Contacts have both a first and last name.

For situations 2 and 3, feel free to let us know when you come across a contact with an empty professional summary and we’ll be happy to work on building up their profile.
